Guess what happened to the guy who posted a picture of himself with loads of cash on Snapchat

Are you thinking like me?

The saying of old that you should be careful of whatever you do because it may come after you so applies to this 18-year-old, from Florida, who took a picture of $280 (£193) in his home on Sugar Pine Drive in West Boca and posted it on the self-deleting picture and video site.

As expected, the aftermath of his actions was beyond the boy’s comprehension (Who says he wouldn’t have posted it if he knew what was going to happen to him?) Within hours of the post, the $280, including the boy’s watch and wallet were all taken from him by two masked men with sharp knives.

Luckily for the boy, the thieves were spotted by a woman walking her dog, and a police officer in the area by chance noticed the numberplate of the getaway car. The victim then told police he had recognized the voice of one of the robbers as belonging to 21-year-old Faried Said.

Faried Said faces armed robbery and burglary charges.
