We are Digital Passion

THE YOUNG NIGERIAN WEB DEVELOPERS

In the midst of the challenges we are facing in the country especially in the Education sector, it is a thing of joy to see our teens coming up with new innovations. If weighed on a scale, one would expect them to be backward in terms of achievement and output but the opposite is the reality. And this ,I believe is the Nigerian spirit. These two young boys of ages 13 and 15 respectively did us proud by developing an Android based web browser. One thing, they proved their talent and second, their love or passion for the digital world.

Introducing the innovators; Anesi and Osine Ikhianosime, Students of Greensprings School, Anthony Campus, Lagos. These young lads have grown to love

Information technology from their toddler stage as confirmed by their mum. She said one of them started operating a computer before ever going to school. That is definitely a sign of a genius.

The name of the Android based web browser they developed is Crocodile Browser Lite. The browser is as lite as its name because it is designed to run on low speed Android phones. It was first launched on Mobango app and then Google Play Store with about 500 downloads so far. Anesi and Osine Ikhianosime have indeed shown their worth and this is just their starting point with a record for other teens like them to sweat on.Who will be the next “rare teen gem”?

Kudos Anesi and Osine. Proudly Nigerian.
