If you thought turning water into wine was an impressive accomplishment, it might soon become the norm thanks to the power of technology.
That’s right, beer fans, the day is finally here – you can now brew a tall, frosty one right from your own home.
Created by SodaStream International, the device allows users to add sparkling water to a special beer concentrate formula called “Blondie” to create beer at home. The finished product has 4.5% alcohol content and apparently tastes like any normal beer you’d buy in the pub.
If you think it’s all too good to be true, take a look at the video below to get an idea of how homemade brewing would work.
Though the ‘Beer Bar’ is currently only available in Germany and Switzerland, it is expected to make the hop into other markets before the end of 2016.
When it does, you’ll be able to yield three litres of beer for just over £2.
Even if it doesn’t live up to the taste of bigger beer brands, you can’t argue with the price or ease of access.
